As everyone is aware the economical conditions throughout the
nation has hit everyone and every service very hard. Bayshore Fire
Rescue is no exception. In order for the District to maintain the
current level of operation, several areas within the Districts
annual budget had to be reduced or eliminated. One area that was
reduced dramatically was in fire prevention education and the
supplies to provide this service. One of the District’s primary
missions is to prevent fire before it occurs. The most important way
for us to do this is by providing education to residents and
children throughout the District. We accomplish this through fire
prevention educational seminars, truck and station tours, school
visits, and booths at local events held within Bayshore. In efforts
to continue funding these areas, we started a Fire prevention
partnership program.
The Bayshore Fire District would like to thank the following
Individuals, and business for funding the 2009-2010 fire prevention
