Operations

The Operations staff is the core of Bayshore Fire Rescue, running the day to day operations and responding to emergencies when called upon. The highly dedicated Operations staff consists of 12 full time career firefighters, 26 volunteer firefighters, and 3 support staff, who have devoted their lives to serving the community and saving others.
 
The Operations staff runs emergency calls to include the suppression of fires, emergency medical response, technical rescue, hazardous materials, and other emergency responses. They also run the daily operations of the Fire Prevention and Public Education Division. Operations employees spend a great deal of time in training, and keeping their skills at the highest level to fulfill the ever-changing needs of the district.  

The Bayshore Fire district currently operates on three 24hr shifts. Each shift consist a captain, engineer, and 2 firefighters, as well as volunteer and support staff.
